Friday night of NNU’s Homecoming & Family Weekend, November 8-10, offers a complete lineup of activities for families, students, supporters and alums to root, rally and reminisce together.
All ages are invited to join in on the Food Truck Rally from 5:00-7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to get together with both old and new friends for some good food and conversation before the homecoming basketball game. Find a variety of food trucks outside the Johnson Sports Center including Boise Fry Co., The BBQ Guy, Basilio's, Off the Grid Pizza and Slow River Coffee for this fun dining experience!
After the rally, be sure to come out and support the Nighthawks men’s and women’s basketball teams. The ladies take on Stanislaus State at 5:30 p.m. in the JSC, and the men will be taking on Northwest Christian University at 8:00 p.m. A special pep band composed of current band students and alumni will be playing before the men’s game at 7:00 p.m. Coronation, another homecoming tradition, will take place at half-time, where 2018’s Homecoming Court will be presented and crowned. NNU Golf Alumni will also be honored during half-time with a special presentation. It’s going to be an exciting evening, so bring your Nighthawks gear and your loudest cheer to support the teams!
To conclude the evening, come hang out with friends, family, alumni and current NNU students at the Overtime Party. This annual SGA sponsored event will take place after the men’s game in the JSC Field House. You won’t want to miss this fun time of free food, games and fellowship.
